In this Sunday Trade Ideas video I review the trade ideas that were entered and closed last week as well as those that are now open. These include Las Vegas Sands (LVS), Under Armour (UA), Visa (V), Alibaba (BABA), Chevron (CVX), Caterpillar (CAT) and Twitter (TWTR). There are two new trade ideas on Apache (APA) and Canadian Solar (CSIQ).

There was a pause in the action today as the stock markets traded in a much narrower range and were a little mixed. The DJIA, SPX and NYA were all up just slightly but the Nasdaq and RUT were down. All eyes on China tonight as two key economic reports are released.

The selling on Wall Street resumed today. One word comes to mind to describe it…relentless. Declining stocks outnumbered advancing stocks 8.5 to 1. Declining volume however led advancing volume 18 to 1. Now that ratio is pretty negative but in terms of declining volume, not yet close to the peaks in August selling.
In tonight’s Weekday Market Wrap video I look at all the price action including HYG, TLT, USO, GLD, XHB and IBB. I also take a look at Facebook (FB) down 3.8%, Starbucks (SBUX) down 3.8%, Visa (V) down 4.9% and GoPro (GPRO) down another 8%. Continue reading
